Your voice beyond the title
You’ve earned the expertise, now it is time to elevate your profile.
I provide executive positioning for senior leaders at a turning point: stepping onto stages and into the press, or into the next chapter of their career.

Where you are now
You have spent years building deep expertise. Your career has now reached the point where that expertise needs to be seen: on conference stages, in industry forums, and in the articles and interviews where your opinion counts.
Being visible is a different skill from being expert. It asks you to know what you stand for and to say it with conviction.
That is what I help you shape. I bring more than 20 years in marketing communications, shaping vision, values and competitive positioning for organisations.
I have also sat on both sides of the interview, as a business journalist asking the questions and as a PR adviser preparing the people who answer them. I prepare you for every stage, article and interview, and partner with you throughout.
My focus is the person behind the title. When what you say aligns with who you are, you speak with authority, and people listen.
Does this sound familiar?
You know your subject inside out, but talking about yourself feels unnatural.
You've been invited to speak or write, and you want to get it right first time.
Your public voice still sounds like the company's, and not quite like you.
You want visibility without it ever feeling like self-promotion.
You know exactly where you're heading, but you don't have the time to build your profile yourself.
You want an expert to take ownership of your positioning, someone you can trust to get it right and run with it.
How we work together
This is a partnership. I invest real time in understanding you: what drives you, what you value, and what you want to be known for.
I create a confidential thinking space where, as an ICF-trained coach, I listen closely and ask the questions others don’t.
As a former journalist, I challenge your thinking the way an interviewer or audience would.
As a marketing strategist, I help you plan and position what comes next, so that what you say is clear, credible and unmistakably yours.
1. Space to think out loud. As with all my work, we start with the foundations, and in executive positioning, the foundation is you. Before a single word is written, we take the time to understand why you are doing this, what you want to bring to the market and what matters to you. When you are clear on the why, everything that follows comes far more naturally.
2. What you want to be known for. Together we define your territory: the topics you want to own, the conversations you want to be part of, and just as importantly the ones you choose to stay out of, and why.
3. Who you are speaking to. We get precise about your audience: who they are, what they need to understand and what they need from you. If you speak within an institution, we work out what it needs from you too, and how to balance its voice with your own.
4. Finding the words. Then we build it: your positioning, your story and your key messages, carried through into speeches, articles, interview preparation and presentations. For leaders presenting in English as a second language, that can also include support with articulation, delivery and confidence on stage.
What you will walk away with
Over our time together, you'll build your Executive Positioning Profile, a working document that captures who you are now and evolves with you over time.
Interview preparation: the toughest questions you're likely to face, and how to answer them with confidence, prepared by someone who has asked them.
Your positioning: what you stand for and want to be known for, in a few clear sentences.
Signature topics: the conversations you'll lead, and the ones you'll choose to stay out of.
Audience map: who you're speaking to and what they need from you.
Story bank: the stories from your career that bring your expertise to life, on stage and on the page.
What happens next
Every leader arrives at a different moment. Some want a focused project: sharpening their positioning before a conference, a new role or a move into consulting. Others prefer an ongoing partnership, with someone in their corner as speeches, articles and interviews come up through the year.
Either way, it starts with a conversation, with no obligation and in complete confidence. Tell me where you are and where you want to go, and we’ll work out the right next step together.
